Ok, I've heard a lot of different sayings that we use when we've had a bad day....for example:

the s**t hit the fan
the day went to heck (or a hot place) in a handbasket
the world went pear-shaped

but yesterday I heard a new one.....

someone peepee'd in my Cheerios.....

never heard this one before, and it cracked me up!!!! Anyone else have any other terms for "having a bad day"?

I always say that the excrement has hit the rotary oscillator which is weird because I just posted that in another post today.

Other than that, I say "Oy Vey! Why me?" and look upwards.

I usually just cuss a bit depending on the situation and if there are no little ears around. Not very creative

If I'm REALLY ticked, I clean everything!!!

One I use I stole from the movie "Torch Song Trilogy" (a movie about a drag queen, excellent movie BTW, I highly recomend it)
"Well aint that a kick in the rubber parts"

That was what reminded me to post this......but I couldn't remember the exact phrasing, or the thread that it was posted in, lol!!

When my day has been bad in a totally new way, I always say "Same s#*t different pile!"
I always say that I would have rather been shot in face, foot or some other body part than to have gone through that days events!

I have heard the "who peed in your cheerios this morning" before and love that one!

For me it's:

Grrrrrr or Arrrgh
Or I'll just come right out and say that I'm having a really horrid day. I tend to not use cliches very often.

"Someone has a case of the Mondays!"

But usually I just say, "I REALLY don't want to talk or think about work." I'm kind of boring that way, lol.

Oh, I love that movie and haven't seen it in years!

I've asked people who peed in their wheaties, but never their cheerios (although, that's even cuter!)

I normally just come home and tell DH to "just shoot me" and crash on the couch. He gets the idea and leaves me alone.

What comes to mind for me is.....

"Who rained on your parade?"
"Don't let the door hit you where they sun don't shine"
"Did you wake up on the wrong side of the broom this morning?"
"Don't mess with a woman with PMS"

I get bad calls all day long working at a collection agency so I express myself with sarcasm after i hang up quite often like
"Wasn't he/she a peach" oR "Somewhere a village is deprived of it's idiot!" Or "The gene pool around here could use a little chlorine."

but when i'm having a bad say it may be somthing like
"Stick a fork in me i'm done!"
And of course the local Canadian saying "Who pooped in your Poutine!"

I've had better days.

If we have a less than wonderful day in surgery (Central Processing doesn't turn over the instruments fast enough, the patient is really sick, the surgery is really difficult, or any number of other things) we call it a "Goat Rodeo." Or if it's a huge horrendo-plasty, it can be bad enough to be called a "Blazing Blue Bohemian Goat Rodeo."

Often, I'll just take my two first fingers, and make stabbing motions at my eyes.

I normally just start singing that little song from the Winnie The Pooh movie, but I put a real bite to it so it sounds like something Rob Zombie would produce instead of singing it sweetly ....

"I'm just a little black rain cloud
Hovering over the Honey Tree.
I'm just a little black rain cloud,
pay no attention to little me.
Everyone knows that a rain cloud
Never eats honey, no, not a nip
I'm just floating around over the ground
Wondering where I will drip"

*smile*
