Okay so last night Trouble miscalcul;ated his jump ( trying to jump from edge of table to counter) well anyway he ended up smacking into the cabinet and it scraped his nose and lip pretty good ( not bleeding just a scrape) well anyway it must have scared the heck out of him because his bladder let loose when he hit the cabinet.I checked to make sure nothing was broken( I stretched and moved all bones..he didn't object) I also called the vet who said that a short fall and a small bump of the face shouldn't have hurt him.But.....He is now acting unsociable ( not mean he just is to himself) he is not running around and playing!plus he is not eating like he ormally does( maybe it burns because of the scrape to nose and lip??) well anyway I was wondering, could it have traumatized him? could his pride be hurt?

I would definitely believe his pride is hurt and he's a little embarassed. If you attempted something like that and everyone saw you fail you'd feel alittle embarassed ya? I'd give it another day and see how he is before jumping to any major health conclusions. I would assume that his mouth might be alittle sore so maybe it hurts little to eat. Keep a close eye, reassure him that he is no less the cat he was before attempting and failing that jump. He hears you and and understands.
