Minnosh Has Kittens

Minnosh, our import TUV, gave birth to five beautiful kittens yesterday afternoon. She was bred to CH Yapy Kredy Harvest Moon of Vankkadia, a perfectly marked brown tabby male with beautiful type.

We have two girls, one brown patched tabby and one blue patched tabby. We're keeping the blue patched for sure; she's only the third or so ever registered in CFA.

We also have three boys, one red tabby and two brown tabbies, though I hope I'm wrong on at least one of the brown tabbies

The girls came in at 3 3/4 oz, and the boys ranged from 4 1/4 - 4 1/2 oz. Minnosh has more than enough milk and the babies are suckling nicely.

We have some real show potential with this litter; nobody is overmarked and everybody is quite flashy. You should have seen me celebrating. I'm so proud of these little guys!

Sometimes we take the camera down to give Minnosh and the babies a little privacy. Sometimes Minnosh dances across the keyboard. Try again sometime, we have it up throughout most of the day.

Most chat channels are in VIP mode. It doesn't prevent you from seeing the kittens

Mama is not feeling very photogenic, and she probably won't let me get good pics of the kittens for another few weeks But here are her pro pictures that we took back in July.

Just checked the video now (almost 8pm). No mom - just the babies sleeping lined up in a row - they are cute.

We've since switched For some reason, Minnosh hates puppy pads but we needed something that would absorb "stuff."

You probably were looking when we had to move Minnosh so that one of her babies could nurse on his own. He hadn't gained much since birth, but since then, he's up to almost 5 ounces.

The camera is down for today, but I will have it up again tomorrow.

The Minnosh Kittens are all weighing in around 7 ounces, with my fat Red Boy topping the charts at 8! I think he's going to be a monster Too bad I don't need another boy. . .

Pictures to follow once we start to open our eyes

The Minnosh babies now have all of their eyes open. Below are some pics of them

I'll most likely be keeping the blue patched tabby girl for my own program--we don't get too many of those in the breed.
