Eden - Post Spay onto recovery

This is what she's done all night

And that's about all she's done all night. She's back to rolling over for tummy rubs like normal - reminds me so much of Damita....

I brought her into the office with me after running the corn stove in here awhile, so it's the warmest room in the house (regular heat, corn stove just adds to heating the basement better). I moved her bed in front of the corn stove - not so she's directly in the heat coming out but very close to it....and she's happy as a kitty back home.

Yeah - she's gonna end up like PJ & Punky - just never leaving.

Awww poor baby, shes had a rough day!

And I can't believe how big her spay incision is! It looks mighty uncomfortable. I bet by tomorrow she'll be feeling back to normal.

Oh my.. poor baby. I hope she recovers very soon!

Incision is big due to her being in heat, plus having a UTI, he had to go bigger than he wanted to/normally does. The vet kept telling her he was sorry he spliced her so bad when I picked her up.

Give her a gentle hug...

Awww the poor thing, so many issues Hopefully she'll have less problems now!

That's nice the vet apologised for it rather than just saying "ahh well, she'll be fine".

And the vet was talking to HER when he apologized - not me.

She is so sleepy and relaxed after her "Spa Day" complete with Brazillian waxing, a tummy tuck and meds for her peepee-parts. Bless her little brown heart. Kiss her little head for me, please?

is that why she was operated on through her tummy or is that where the incision normally goes?

i only ask because my girls (including the newest) have the incision made through their sides.

i'm glad to see her looking so happy and relaxed, she's a beautiful girl.

Going in through the tummy is normal here in the States.

She looks so peaceful all sprawled in her bed.
