I actually bought a mix at Extra Foods ( Superstore) it was only $ 1.49 add sugar and water it makes 10 apples

I had a chocolate and sprikled covered one yesterday the toffee ones effect my teeth badly (im 16 with only 8 adult teeth lol the rest are milk teeth..)

Our son, who will be 14 in Dec., just lost a baby molar. He still has another one left.

I don't eat candy apples because my Mom didn't let me when I was a kid so I never developed a taste for them.

The very thought of eating a candy apple right now is making my mouth water!

I love both kinds, the chocolate covered ones and the caramel ones! Yummy yum yum

I haven't had a candy apple in years...
When I was a kid, I loved the bright red ones that we bought at fairs.
I am craving a caramel one now.

The easiest way is just to melt a bunch of caramel candies in a double boiler and dip your apples! I'm sure it's better to make your own caramel, though... and probably not too hard -- I think it's just sugar and butter, right?

Uhoh... now I'm imagining a caramel apple rolled in chopped walnuts...
