I actually bought a mix at Extra Foods ( Superstore) it was only $ 1.49 add sugar and water it makes 10 apples
Oh I love candy apples. I wish I could have just 1 of your 10.

Sounds good (and pretty) but I prefer the caramel dipped apples. The candy ones stick too much to my teeth

I don't eat candy apples because my Mom didn't let me when I was a kid so I never developed a taste for them.

I haven't had a candy apple in years...
When I was a kid, I loved the bright red ones that we bought at fairs.
I am craving a caramel one now.

The easiest way is just to melt a bunch of caramel candies in a double boiler and dip your apples! I'm sure it's better to make your own caramel, though... and probably not too hard -- I think it's just sugar and butter, right?
Uhoh... now I'm imagining a caramel apple rolled in chopped walnuts...
