There's a new Monster at my house. You all know about the Vacuum Monster, but that one only comes out sometimes. This new Monster has been on ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT!! It moves all by itself and it is REALLY scary!!!

This is what the Monster looks like:

PLEASE HELP!!!

My pet humans have a couple of those monsters as well. I wish you great luck in avoiding them. I only enjoy sitting near them if the dog is sitting near them, just to make him angry. He's really stupid.

The Moster I hate the most, besides the Vacuum Monster, is the telephone monster. Stupid thing rings and rings and rings. I must devise a plan to banish this plastic evil.

Your pal,
Socks

PS: I forgot about the CAMERA MONSTER. I hate it the most!

Dear Socks,
I have figured out how to make the phone stop ringing. If you take your nose and push on it you can make half it fall off and then the ringing stops. If you hear a voice coming out of the part you knocked on the floor just meow into it. Daddy cat doesn't think it is very funny for some reason... But it makes the ringing stop!!

(moemoe really does that. drives me and hubby crazy! )

I have 5 fan monsters in my house. But they are not as bad as the scarriest monster of all...the thunderstorm monster!!! Just thinking about it makes me want to hide under the bed.

Sincerly, Hooda

(p.s. My friend Binky must think she has 9 lives, she is not afraid of anything.)

I don't think the monester at your house is so bad. My humans have some of those too, and sometimes I even sit in front of them. There is a different monester at my house that is MUCH SCARIER! My humans call it the "air conditioner". Everytime my humans turn this monester on I start meowing and they think it's cute. When will they realize that I'm SCREAMING at that horrible monester so it will go away!!!!!!! It makes my whole house get soooo cold it's scary!!!!

Hooda, we have a thunderstorm monester at my house too. I hide under the living room furniture when it comes!

Sincerely,
Snowball

We have an ultra-scary monster in our backyard - the WOOD CHIPPER MONSTER. I run and hide under the covers when Daddy is trying to subdue it. Socks, you can trick the telephone monster. Ours has a button you can press so that YOU can answer the call without knocking the receiver off the hook, which is very useful when your mom-mom is calling from the USA and nobody is home. There is also a "redial button" you can press - I have already called Tokyo and - my record - Auckland. Mommy and Daddy sometimes forget to dial "000000000" after they've talked on the phone, but they're learning! Yours, Jamie

WOW! You guys are all scaredy cats! Lazlo, Spooky and Tuxedo are afraid of the vaccuum monster, but I'm not! But even they aren't afraid of the fan monster or the air-conditioner monster!

But they are all afraid of the lawn-mower monster when Daddy mows the lawn, so I guess they're just scaredy-cats too.

And Spooky was appropriately named - she's scared of the front door! Anytime Mommy or Daddy put on a coat to head out the door (or she hears the key in the lock when they've been out), she's hiding in the bedroom LIKE A SHOT! She's so funny!

But I'm not afraid of anything.

I'M SHELLY!!!!

(The only thing I don't like is getting my claws clipped. WHY DO THEY NEED TO DO THAT ANYWAY?)

Wow, there's a lot of scary monsters out there! I didn't know that the air conditioner is a monster - I kinda like it when it blows cool air on me, but I'm all black with long hair so I get pretty hot in the summer. My sister Ophelia is scared of the front door too, Shelly! It's almost always just Mommy and Daddy, but she runs into the bedroom anyway. Silly girl!

I haven't met a lot of these monsters, and I don't want to.

Socks, the best way to beat the Camera Monster is to go hide. If it can't see you then you're safe from it. Ophelia LIKES the Camera Monster, she's always posing for it.

I'm just glad I'm not the only kitty with these monsters in my house!!

(Mommy's right - this is a great site! )

You big bunch of wussies. I am Rowdy and I'm not afraid of ANYTHING! The phone is not a monster. Whenever it rings, I run and sit on it, so that Mom can find it. The fan feels good, ruffling my fur. This Arizona and it gets HOT!

OK, I'll admit it: I don't like the vacuum monster. Actually, I go under the bed, with Buddy amd Opie, to keep them company.

This is a picture of the monster at my house. My mommy puts one end in her mouth and the most horrible sound comes out. And sometimes she stops making that awful sound, and says the same kind of words I hear when I do something she doesn't like. So I don't know why she is torturing this monster, she should just let it go free. Then sometimes, her friends come over and they all torture monsters together. Its awful.

But not as awful as the vacuum monster. And I think ours had a baby, because there is a little one she carries around in one hand.

Our monster is the very worst of them all. First our mommy will put us in the sink and cover us with WATER. She will scrub us all over too!Don't tell her we sort of like that part! Then comes the monster! Mom takes it's trunk and puts it next to our fur and it Blows all over us! Mom won't let us leave until we are all dry! Blowing on the tummy is the worst in the world!

We have the vacuum monster, too, and we are scared of it, too!
Mom & Dad have 2 fan monsters in the bedroom that run at night, but that doesn't bother us. Fluffy likes it because it makes her voice louder.
The only monster that we don't like, and it's not really a monster, but when we get stinky, Mommy comes after us with those things called 'pet wipes' and makes us smell nice & flowery We dont't like it because it makes us wet. Does anyone know how to escape her? We've tried running, but she follows us and picks us up to finish the 'job'.

This is moemoe's brother neo. I have killed the camera monster before!!! Mommy and dad got a NEW monster they said it was special because it didn't need film. They left it on the table and i knocked it off!! It wouldn't work anymore!! As soon as the turned it on it would take pictures!! The monsters was smart and told mommy and daddy I did it! It took a pic of me standing on the table when it hit the floor. They had just gotten the monster so daddy took it back to the store and said that it was broken and they gave him a new one...next time i'm waiting until the monster warenty is up!

Neo, my human and I are laughing so hard right now, although I am laughing a little bit more evilly than it is.

That is such a grand idea! My human has one of those filmless monsters too, but she usually keeps it in a funny case. I must find a way to outsmart this silly case, for it is keeping me from my goals.

I don't get the bath monster anymore. I took a big chunk out of my human's arm, and now she's frightened to bathe me. Ah, it's nice being me.

My human's don't bath us. They say we smell good but we do have these new monsters!! They are little and tiny and make squeky noises. They are all white and mommy keeps telling me how cute they are!! I'm so scared of them! She said we have to get used to them because they are going to live here too!! She said they are kittens, baby cats....they don't look like cats to me! They don't even know how to use a litter box ANDDDDD they don't play with toys, they just lay around...i guess that is kinda cat like!! Have you ever seen any of these monsters, they are kinda cute...but don't tell mommmy I said so!!

My name is Taz and I am a black-and-white fearless kitten. Mom and Dad call me "fearless fly" because nothing scares me. When the vacuum gets turned on, all my siblings run and hide, but I just watch mom as she cleans. The phone rings, and it is no big deal. I ride on the top of the tractor when mom is working the fields, it is really cool. Mom says I am her hood ornament and I slow down the job because Mom has to drive really slow so she doesn't hurt me. The other day when I was sitting on Mom's lap, I heard her tell Pop, she was going to take me to the vet and have my hearing checked as she has never seen such a kitty like me. I am very special..........

Hi, my name is Buddy and I can tell you about monsters! There are two of them, at my house. Most of the time, they are outside.

One of them is black-and-white, like me but HE doesn't have a custom-tailored tuxedo - just big spots. I think that its a skin condition. Mom tried to introduce me to him but he DROOLED on me! I'm not about to sit still, for that!

The other one is smaller and brown and jumps around a lot. Whenever I sit by the door, she jumps at the screen and yips. Rowdy says that she's fun to play with but, I don't trust her. Opie says that I should just whack them on their noses and they'll behave.

I've only lived here, for 3 1/2 weeks and I think that I'll keep observing these creatures. They may be friendly but, why take chances?

Hey guys, I'm new here, this is Luna. (I don't actually live with my human yet, I'm too little to leave my kitty mommy.) Does anyone live with a Box Monster that eats you? It's all plastic, and it eats you up, then spits you out at the VET? Eep! I can never seem to escape from it!

And I actually the best secretary for my Mom! Her Mom called her yesterday and asked why she called her and sniffed at the phone I didn't say them that it was me, who pressed the redail button!

My name is Max and I have a wee bit of a problem with the vacum monster. I don't mind the fan monster or the air conditioner monster. I seem to know when it's my Mama at the door, but if it is anyone else I run and hide (except for my Grampa, I just love my Grampa). When I hide, even my mama can't find me.

Ivo here. We have the vacuum monster, too, but now that I'm older I try and pretend I'm not as scared, so I just stay in the next room. The fan isn't a monster, it's my friend I like it when it blows my fur around.

We have a special monster here-the chair monster! When it just sits there, it's OK. But occasionally it grabs Mommy and moves her around the apartment. It usually lets go of her in the living room, where it sits for a while and does it all over again. I run and hide when I see the chair monster has Mommy-I know I should protect her, but the chair monster is so scary!
