I don't believe anyone has posted this year, but Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were gunned down in their home on Friday, and her nephew was missing. They found him today, shot in the back of an abandoned SUV.

American Idol turned actress (Sex and the City: the Movie, Dreamgirls).

Very sad story. I wonder what the investigation will tell.

My heart goes out to her family. I would be going crazy if something like this happened to me. I really do hope she can recover she seems like such a nice girl.

She lost her mother, brother and nephew in the last few days. It's absolutely horrible.

I was just reading this morning how the suspect in this triple slaying should not even have been a free man. He was arrested for a parole violation earlier this year but some judge in Chicago declined to re-incarcerate him.
Now three people are dead, one an innocent child.

stuff like this happens every day there I know because I was born and raised in Chicago.... But it sad when it happens to someone whose life is finally in order and going well.
