I just started using this, and wondered if anyone had some nice recipes using it. I made a foccacia-type thing (olive oil, gralic, and fresh tomatoes & basil--yummy!).

Thanks!

Open it all the way up so that it is in rectangle form. Make a big lengthwise "stripe" of shredded cheddar and chopped broccoli. Roll back into log shape and connect ends to form a "wreath." Score the top so that just a little of the filling shows through. Add a little more cheese to top. Bake at 325 for about 25 minutes.

Thank you! The broccoli/cheese recipe sounds delish!

I hope you like it. It looks pretty for the holidays, too. You can stuff them with anything. I did a dessert one once - cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.

I used to do this with homemade dough for my father, who just loved it -- but since he's gone now, I've gotten lazy, and I use the unrollable bread or pizza dough for it:

Unroll the dough, slather the center with a little melted butter, sprinkle on some Spice Islands Italian Seasoning, then some shredded parmesan and romano cheese (not too much of either, or it gets overwhelming). Roll it up, moisten the edges to seal them, and sprinkle a little of the seasoning and cheese on top to look pretty. Because it's so spicy, this goes really well with a creamy pasta ike Fettucine Alfredo! Great with salad, too.

Alternate version: Instead of the Italian Seasoning, use a little chiffonaded fresh basil and a sprinkle of lemon juice along with the cheese. S'wonderful!
