This is Jimmy a few days ago, looking all fraidy, with his filthy ears:

and today with a nice soft, clean, brushed out coat (it was really gross the first few days - he's finally cleaning himself again), more relaxed, and with clean ears (he loved having his ears cleaned, go figure...)

I
his eyes!!!!

He still doesn't know how to play, and is only just starting to notice that toys dangling in front of him are interesting to watch.

He's also not comfortable being inside. He cries in his cage (he's probably bored), then I let him run around the spare room, and he'll run around with his belly low to the ground, won't really settle anywhere, and he sits in the window, looking outside and mewing a sad little mew. He's improving fast, but we still have a ways to go.

The fact that he loves cuddles is good

He's a sweetie, all right!
And he looks relaxed enough collecting his scritches that it probably won't be too long before he forgets to be wary.

What a sweetie pie! He's acting just like my Carl did when we first got ahold of him. He's beautiful!

Yep, especially when he lies like that it's easy to tell he is no doubt, absolutely, positively all male!

well if those photos don't show explicitly how he is feeling then i don't know what would!

it's hard to believe it's the same little guy looking at him, what a wonderful job you and your husband are doing to make him feel safe and secure!

he is a handsome boy!

My he is just GORGEOUS! i
the color of his eyes! Are you going to keep him? He will eventually get used to the inside, he is young and will adjust.

Nope, he is a foster. I do a fair bit of feral cat TNR, and socialisation and adoption of kittens - this guy will find a wonderful forever home with someone else
