Does anyone know when a kittens eye color changes from blue to whatever color they will become? My nieces siamese cat,( a cat that just appeared at her house that was pregnant and she decided to keep) had her kittens, there are 2 black ones, a solid gray one and a tabby stripe one, their eyes are still blue, only 2 and a half weeks old now though, and was wondering if they may have blue eyes since the mother does? They are really healthy looking kittens, and a friend of hers is a vet and has checked them over already, and she is going to have her spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned. Just wondering about the eye color though. Thanks!

Usually you can see them start to change when they are about 6 to 8 weeks old. I would be very surprised if the kittens retain the blue eyes. Usually only pointed kittens will end up with blue eyes.
