Thomas vomitted this morning at around 5am. Since he has vomitted before, once usually and then gone back to being his usual healthy self, we didn't think very much of it, until two hours ago when he started vomiting again. We have called every vet in the local area and none of them have emergency hours. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow morning when they open, but what can we do for him in the mean time? I've been providing him with fresh water and cuddling him a ton. Can you give pepto bismal to cats?

Yes and I've been checking him about every hour for the last three. He seems to be hydrated.

It may well not be a problem, but a checkup is a good idea. I'm sure by the time you read this, you'll have seen the vet. He may just have a hairball he's trying to get rid of, and having trouble with it.

Pepto has what amounts to aspirin in it, which can be toxic to cats.
