We rescued a two-year old stray three months ago, who was declawed front and back. He was very loving. Took him to the vet, he had a tape worm, ear mites, and fleas. We fixed him up and slowly introduced him to our old cat, about 14, over two months. Now, they like each other, but play too rough. Our old cat has cried out twice when they're wrestling and comes away with a limp. Yesterday, his front paw gave out from under him after the incident so we took him in for an x-ray. All is well, just a sprain, but does anyone have any ideas on how to keep them from playing so rough? Or, what does anyone think of flower essences to get the new young cat to CALM down. He is way to rambunctious for our 14 year old. Any ideas?
