72 papers have endorsed Obama while only 18 have endorsed McCain. 14 of the papers for Obama voted for Bush in 2004.

The Media is in the tank for Obama and the media is trying to elect the next President. Big surprise.

Some of the endorsements are being done by newspapers that are traditionally republican. For example, the Chicago Tribune has never once supported a democratic candidate in the 161 years of its publications. Why this sudden change in policy?

Absolutely not, as there has never been a single "native son" democrat endorsed by the Times, regardless of the office they ran for. And the majority of the "native son" democrats were actually born and raised there, not just arrived as an adult.

Personally, I don't believe that print or electronic mainstream media should be endorsing anyone as a candidate. Newspapers, like the mainstream, spoon fed, brain dead, television news media, should be unbiased.
