Fixing eyes on a photo??

Stopped over at neighbors this afternoon and he showed me pictures of his son with his first deer (a spike buck!). This is his son's first hunting season and his first deer. The picture is good except the flash turned the deer's eyes whitish-clear.

Is there any free software that could paint the eyes back to the brown color.
I think it wants to make prints to give to grandparents and for posterity!!

There isn't really anything to automatically fix it - we have an old thread somewhere on fixing flash eyes but most of us painted them back on using photoshop or whatever we use.

You could try Paint - that's free.
