Niagra Falls

When we went to Elmira to see Jen, we took a trip to Niagra Falls. It is more spectacular than I could have imagined! We went on the Maid of the Mist.

I am Canadian,but never yet been there...I would love to see it.

I just came back from spending the weekend there too

I love the Falls and it is always as spectacular as the first time I seen it

Niagara Falls is about an hour from my house and I go there for the golf.

Most people here on this side of the border go for the Casino now I think. It's beautiful at night with the lights on.

It can be a lot of walking so when Jennifer was younger we loaded the bicycles in the car, parked when we got to the falls and then the 3 of us biked around. It was quite a bit of fun.

Well, our little girl, Jennifer, is almost 22 so she is a good walker.

Oh! Nothing makes me not chat even if I have to shot to chat! Anyway, the falls were so beautiful that at times even I was speechless with wonder.

Wow, I hope to visit there one day. It looks beautiful!

Beautiful pics of the falls at night! I can see where you like to go at night.

One time, I played black jack in Reno from 9 pm until 9 am, playing just what I wanted to lose, $150. They kept moving me from table to table because I kept winning and they thought that I was counting cards. I wasn't. I was just following my late father's advice who said that when the dealer shows a low hand, stick on 16. Who needed to count cards when you had your late, Irish, lucky father saying that from heaven.

I got so many watered down drinks and snacks and breakfast. Oh, and I always tipped the dealers.

Next time, ask me about the cute army young guy on leave who wanted to pick me up.

That was actually taken from our hotel not at the casino, although we did go on Sunday and watch NFL there and have dinner at the buffet.

We went up to the falls a couple of years ago, in the middle of winter. i will try to find the pics,

Beautiful pictures. And I'm only going to point this out because it drives me nuts. It's Niagara Falls, not Niagra Falls.
Living there for 3 years made me hate how most people spelled it!

I've been to Niagara falls and pictures cannot express the beauty and power of that water. It's amazing. Infact, the water is so powerful that you can feel the mist from hundreds of feet away.

And the rainbow lives forever at Niagara Falls.

We are going back in a few weeks to meet up with friends too, I love living so close but sometimes the tourists drive me crazy

We went to Niagara Falls for the indoor racing at the Convention Center (my dad used to race there). We stayed at the Sheraton and could see the lights of the falls at night from our room. My mom, brother and I went over to the Canadian side and visited the Skylon Tower while we were there too and took pictures (I dont have them though!)

It was definitely nice, and I hope one day Rob and I will go, and take a ride on the Maid of the Mist.
