I have been looking/reading on this site for a week so I thought I should come by and introduce my self and the newest member of our family. "Makau", to be orphaned in Hawaiian, is a 3.5 week old little boy who loves my lap. I have had him for about a week and never had one this young with out a mama. (My parents were breeders when I was in high school but that was a while ago!!!) Just today he started to lick up his formula off of a lid so we are moving right along. I am hoping to be able to sleep through again but for right now his needs are more important (its like having a newborn all over again). Thank you for all the info on this site!!! It has been really helpful to remember what it is like to have a cat and the needs of this little bundle of mew.

Hello and welcome! I just saw the piccy you posted of Makau and he is just adorable!! It was so wonderful of you to take him in. Hope you have lots of fun here at TCS!
