Help!!
My Kiwi is just growing so fast, and seems to have gotten too big for her standard, plain-jane litter pan, because she kept stepping in her poo while trying to bury it. So I bought her a nice Sterilite tote (61 Litres...I have no idea what that is in gallons) anyway, its about 2X the size of her litter pan. My husband cut a nice door in it for her. After I finished scooping her old pan this morning, I dumped the litter into the new box (so that it would still smell like her) and then topped it up with fresh litter to make the right depth. Kiwi watched me do all this.....
Well as soon as I walked away she dove into her new box and rolled around in it and jumped all over it, and basically "went nuts" in there doing flips and rolling in the litter. (??????) Then she pounced on me and bit me, and now she's sulking in the basement, and won't come for our usual "afternoon snuggles" while my son is napping.
What is up with this?? Is she mad at me for messing with her toilet?? I thought she'd be all excited to have a nice big litter box.........
