Long Labour? Is dicharge normal?

I have a purebred Ragdoll cat that is about to have her 4th litter. It is day 64 and on sunday night (this is tuesday morning) she had a small discharge. She has been having the discharge ever since but no signs of labour. Other than she is licking a lot and frequent trips to her nesting box. She has always had this pre labour but never this long. Has anyone out there ever experienced this? Thanks for the help

How many days were her previous births? I wouldn't start panicking unless:

1. You can't feel the babies moving or
2. You've exceeded 68 days

Good luck!

My friend that use to breed persians would have cats do that for a week and it was ok.
I would watch her though.

Yes, cats can take 63-68 days on the average. Its normal to have a little discharge for a few days before active labor.

You only need to worry if she is in active/heavy labor and no kittens are born in 2 hrs.

Just curious, what colors/patterns are you expecting?

My cat Zelda lost her plug, took a few days to come all the way out... Looked like sticky glue discharge and then at the end of it, it was sorta reddish/brown. Then, labor

Here it is 8 p.m. and still no kittens but momma seems to be o.k. I have felt the kittens move so that is good. Most of her litters have gone 65 days. I send her out to be bred so when she got pregnant is subjective. You can only guess when the acutal mating occured. Raggz is a blue cream bi-colour and I used a different male this time and he is seal point. She tends to have all blues though. Wish us luck.
