I owe my SS a big apology for being late in saying a big "thank you" for the package that arrived on Friday.
It was from Auntie Em's Creations and contained some gifts for my crew - 3 cat nip sacks and a kitty cuddler. Suffice it to say, I had a bunch of happy kitties this weekend.
No pics because I left my camera at work. I'm taking it home tonight, though, so will work on getting some. Many thanks to my SS for the wonderful surprise!

I am sooooo bad. I received my SS gift today and opened it. My friend was up from out of state and was too excited about the whole SS exchange so she convinced me to come to the darkside. Along with another "purrson" who shall remain nameless -->

My friend and I were walking out of the apt to leave and I almost tripped over a box. The funny thing is, I heard UPS pull up this morning and I ran to the window to see if the package was for me. It wasn't so when I saw a package on my doorstep, I was terribly shocked. Didn't even hear anyone drop it off.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE everything so much and someone put a lot of thought into my gifts. I will post pics later b/c my camera's battery died after the last pic I took. I am pretty certain I know who the great SS was, but will investigate a little more. And I think they pulled the "Ol' address switcharoo" on me.

Okay, I need to amend my previous post. I have it on good authority that the presents from my SS weren't for my kitties, but get well gifts for Isaac. How sweet is that?
No worries, though, Isaac got the kitty cuddler, which he LOVES, and one of the sacks. I'll save the others for him. Thanks again to my SS. What a sweet, thoughtful thing do for little Isaac.

your SS asked that i post this...
I am Nikki's SS. And could you please post in the thread something for me?

Could you tell her I am very happy she got the package and that so far she likes it. Tell her I don't mind if she opens it now or later. If she'd like she can open the outer box and there are some "goodies" floating for her and kits but almost everything is wrapped. It could give her a little pre-christmas fun! Also, inside the box is a Christmas Cryptogram puzzle to help her figure out who I am if she so wishes, and another sealed envelope with the answers to it, if she gives up!
She could make it like the 12 days of Christmas or wait entirely. It's up to her and I hope that she really likes everything I got and made for her and the furrmily!

A big box arrived from my SS when I was out today. It is now sitting in the corner by the tree with a couple of kitties perched on it wondering what's inside......they are begging me to open it......honestly it's all their idea.

Anyhow let's see if it makes it throw the evening...

Thanks very much Nancy

Aww, that is a really sweet thing to do!

Nikki's SS- very crafty!
Love the cryptogram idea! Wish I was that creative.
I think Nikki would still be safely on the Lightside if she opens the box now.

Tierre-
Keep those kitties waiting, see how long you can annoy them for!

Okay, here's the pics. I've sent an e-mail to MoochNNoodles b/c I think she is my Secret Santa. Many clues. One, the wrapping paper is snowmen and snowflakes, which she uses to decorate. Two, the card was Christian oriented and I know she is Christian. Three, The book pretty much gives it away. And I adore the book!!

I got Lindor Truffles, mmmmm!! Comfy socks; a pedicure kit (must have researched the fact that I have awful feet
); three nail polishes, in red (one has hearts in it!); a personalized mouse pad with Spot's pictures
; the book Mutt's Shelter Stories autographed.
Spot got Crab flavored Whisker Lickin's which he has scarfed down; a catnip banana; fur mice; a Santa catnip toy.

The note on the side of the package:

Nosy rosey finding his gifts:

Spot literally tearing into his present; at this point I didn't know it was his:

This is my clue that should tell me who my SS is:

The plethera of gifts:

Spot's been asking for a catnip banana; he almost took my hand off:

Eating the banana:

Spot checking out the other loot:

The haul:

The autographed book which I absolutely cherish:

Thank you soooooo very much, Secret Santa! You did a great job and I am thrilled with the effort you've put into our gifts!

Wow! Those gifts are wonderful, especially the autographed book!
How can you be sure it's MoochNNoodles though if there's no pasta included?
Spot is loving the banana!

No, I'm not your SS but I know who is!

And oops, I goofed on the card - put a Xmas tag rather than a get well card. My bad!!

WOOHOO!!! I got a package delivered tonight from Adagio Teas! I didn't want to go to the Dark Side, but what if the package was from someone else? What if it was for another sarahp, and had been sent to me by mistake? Well, I had to open it and double check that it was meant for me

Thank you so so so so much Santa!!!!!

This is what was inside - a black tea sampler:

Nom nom nom!!! I've already had a cup of the Golden Monkey tea. It was absolutely divine! I think I may be visiting that website again to order more...
This is the description of that tea:

Black tea from the Fujian province of China. Golden Monkey tea is hand-processed each spring with a careful plucking of only one leaf and one bud. It is among the finest Chinese black teas available today. The name comes from its unique appearance: the leaves resemble monkey claws. If you enjoy full-bodied teas with an abundance of flavor, we urge you to give this tea a try.
I LOVE black teas, and have a great little 1 cup infuser, so will have a fabulous time working my way through these
I'm so excited...

There was no clues whatsoever though... hmmmmm!!!!!

umm... i think you misunderstood me. if i had been the person sending it to you, & i had it shipped directly to you, i wouldn't have been able to put clues in, now, would i?
or was it sent from somewhere other than Adagio? from your post, i assumed it had come directly from the company...

Oh I thought you knew something...
I thought you were trying to say the clues were in the specific sorts of teas or something

There was no name, no information, nothing whatsoever to give me clues about the sender.

Yes it's meeeee!!! I'm so glad I didn't pay for the fast shipping....they told me 5-7 days and I shipped it out on Friday! I honestly never thought about the wrapping paper as being part of the clues...but it makes sense!
I'm glad you like everything; especially the book.

I'm glad Spot likes the banana! (Ordered from Plain Brown Tabby!) I had to keep it in the box it was shipped to me in because Mooch and Noodles were after it! They each have one of their own that are well loved; but they were all over that box! I did get a pic of Noodles trying to get in the box, but it's still on the camera. I wrapped it last and Mooch got busy rolling on the packing slip that had been in the box with it!

Hmm....haven't used actual pasta as a clue in a few years!
