I just finally caught up on this thread, and oh, I wish I had participated this year! I didn't sign up because I didn't want to disappoint anyone, but gosh...

I'm going to start saving right now for next year's SS! Meanwhile, it's fun living vicariously. Thank you for all the great photos!

PILFERER!!!
That's a shocking crime!
Karen, is there a place on your spreadsheet to keep track of the pilferers?

DH has just picked up a package with my name on it!

I think it's only fair to place it under the tree until I send my SS gift out. Which will not be until Dec 15th. Boy.... that is such a long time. I wonder if I can hold out that long!

To whoever my SS is.. Thank You and I know I will love it!

Hey it arrived already!

Good on you for holding off opening it for now. We'll see how long you last - the Darkside pressure is intense, and the cookies are tasty.

Carol, I think I know you well enough to know that you would have found gifts that would be appreciated, even if you stuck to a severe budget. It's not the actual gifts, but the thoughts behind them. (I know I'll treasure the hand-made scrap book my SS or someone sent me.)

I think you should track the ones where our cats played with the boxes we used for shipping. Or do we just assume that everyone's cats were inside of our shipping boxes?!?!? I think my Scarlett left scratch marks inside of mine.

Ah....yeah! Hello?!!
If there's anyone whose cats haven't been nosy, I'd be very worried about those kitties. In fact, I'm surprised there aren't more kitties being accidentally sent along with the gifts!

well, unless you consider price a reason. i waited until fairly late last year to send mine, & the price was more than double what it cost me this year...

There are some boxes and packing peanuts and bubbles that have been all over the world from TCS members shipping things to each other. I know at one point me and Karen kept shipping the same box back and forth to each other that had actually come from someone else.

That narrows it down quite a bit.
