The first year I think we did it where we had 3 snoopers and I did A-H, someone else did J-S etc. So the person who had me wouldn't contact me. But we realized that it didn't really matter so the snoopers just were out there to contact whomever.

You're all getting such wonderful Holiday Gifts. I wish I could have participated in Secret Santa, but alas no money at all, so once again no Christmas for me. I sure hope I have a better job by next year at this time, because it makes me so sad to see everyone having Christmas while I have none, every year. I'll be working Christmas this Christmas as I do almost every year and maybe with the Holiday Pay, I'll be able to buy one of those wreaths, but more than likely I'll just have enough to make sure I don't lose my phone or the roof over my head. But don't get me wrong, I'm happy for all of you, and I can live vicariously thru you all, so it is fun to see and read about all of your wonderful gifts and the fun you're having sending them out

Hope, I just have to step in here and say something. You have been in this position for a number of years now, not just this year. You really need to actually get out and look for better work. Maybe re-think your sister's offer to go to Florida. Having no money, year after year after year has to wear a person down. You need to help yourself - pull up those bootstraps, get out there and do some interviews and find a job that will cover your expenses and give you a little extra. If I were close to you, I'd badger you until you made a move to make things better. I'd show up at your door, force you to dress up and go to interviews.
Another thought is to move to a less expensive area. LA must be a lot more expensive than other areas to live. Help yourself girl - you are the only one you can really rely on - I know, I was on my own at a young age and there were times when things got tough but I wouldn't have been able to handle it day after day, week after week and especially year after year.
