I hear my package is on the way, but the post office hasn't even shown up at our house today! I put mail in my box by the curb this morning with the flag up, and the flag is still up.

(for those that don't know about rural mail boxes, you raise the flag on the side of the mailbox and the postman knows to pick up mail from your house. I certainly had no clue when I first moved to the country)

It was pretty funny watching in the corner and seeing a cat trying her hardest to get into those treats and catnip too LOL.

Hello All! I too have succumbed to the dark side and opened all my packages. In addition to the cute snowman and catnip pillows (all hand-crafted, I believe). I received a couple of Iris Johansen novels (I haven't read her yet!), Three puzzle books, rose-scented body cream and scented oil, a pretty black and silver bead necklace, two kitten calendars and a pocket-book calendar and a musical CD!! Am I a lucky girl or what? I wish I had a camera to share it all with you!

I failed to figure out my SS last year, I hope I have better luck this year!

PS I also got a "fantastic wonder fortress" for Danny to play in. AKA a cardboard box!

Ok... so I TOLD DH that I was opening the box, so that the SPCC didn't come after me! And I did.

Inside was a note that said:
"Merry Christmas Jill, A few goodies for you and Kitters, her goodies are wrapped in white. Your SS (on the darkside)
All written in green. (My Favorite color)

Here is a shot of the whole haul! Very pretty is nice "glittery tissue paper", Certainly a hit amongst the furrys here, complete with curly ribbon!

Kitters got a note from my SS's kitties, that says:
Kitters! Meowmy wasn't going to get you anything but we purred and convinced her otherwise. And made sure she got your favorite color!

Here is Kitters where she will stay for the next year if I let her. She did make a box I got last year at Christmas home for over 9 months and it was half the size of this one... So I think she will be living comfortably!


Now... I did my searching last night, and thought I had figured out who had me, however as soon as I opened the pressie, and with these new clues, I know FOR SURE who had me. I've PM'd her and will expose her once PM'd back.


Now....















The pressies are not opened yet.

I know... I know... But circumstances beyond my control have left me... unable and unwilling to finish opening them at this time...

Meaning, unable to open them because I feel bad cuz DH darn near passed out from being so tired that I don't want to wake him up and I want him to see it all too. He was up for over 2 days and I think he's coming down with a cold or whatnot too cuz he's got the shivers.. So I fed him and bundled him up and pulled out the box to open and before I got to the first pressie he was snoring.

I guess I shouldn't have bundled him up so good. If he were still shivering he'd be awake!

But I think I've located the one which should be eaten.. I mean refridgerated, or kept in a cool place. And tomorrow we will try again. I have dinner with my father so it will be later tomorrow night, but... I'm so excited and am super happy I figured out who had me. (Lots of credit to hubby on that one, he's a good searcher)


And with that... I have received PM back that:

gemlady is my SS

And I can't wait to see what cute things she sent.
I am going to bust open the yummy box and see what's in it and maybe... taste a little bit....

My presents are here!!! I took pics of everything but I am just drained right now. I'm using DH's computer since mine is off. I'll upload them tomorrow. I'm not sure who my SS is; but they did an awesome job!!! Several of the things they chose for me are just the best! And they were so generous! I couldn't be happier!!!!

The package came from Canada; but several of the thing in it are from places like Australia, France and New Zealand. My brain is too fried to think tonight... I promise I'll post the pics tomorrow!!! Thank you Secret Santa!!! The package came at the perfect time!

I have been so busy lately it was a welcome surprise to see a box on my doorstep. I'll post pictures after things wind down - My SS sent me a cat calendar - the one that has bad kitty pictures on it. I think my SS said other things were coming so I'll wait and post all the pics at once.

I opened the big square container of yummys....

Had to make the pic smaller cuz it was so blurry, I must have been way too excited and possibly still chewing when I took it!

Oooooooooh they are good. Picture taken with one already missing and the second on that's now missing I swear wasn't eaten by me.... uh... uh.. Kitters did it! Yeah, that's it!

I don't know what exactly they are (other than so good) but the best way to describe them are is cakey chocolatey minty fudgey yummy squares. Does that help?

Oh, Jan just told me they were Creme de Menthe brownies. Still yummy even with a name!

They are Creme de Menthe brownies. My sis made them (so no cat hair.

) and they look like an Andes mint.

I see a recurring theme with that too! Not to mention Kitters tired to darn near shred her (yes hers, if I woulda tried to take it away I'd have been shredded) pretty tissue paper from that package within seconds, then layed on it to make sure it was dead!
