George is due for his wellness exam soon so I'll be taking him in...but I've noticed that his "wart" (for a lack of a better word) on the top of his head has grown. Do cats really get warts? It doesn't seem to bother him - but it looks like he might have scratched it since it is kind of crusty

Can you post a picture of it? Has the vet seen it before? Make sure you ask about it if the vet doesn't mention it during the exam.

Unfortunately, its not something I can take a pic of - something I can feel tho. His trip to to the vet is next week so hopefully I find out its nothing and it can just be "snipped" off if need be.

Captain had a huge lump on his head. It got as big as a grape! The vet said to cut it off with 1cm around it. I decided to leave it alone and treated it with homeopathy. The reason I didn't remove it is because it didn't bother him. He had it on his head for about 2 years and the vet complained everytime I took Captain in for a check up because she thought it was cancer. I worked with a very good homeopath and slowly the lump resolved. It is so small now, you wouldn't even know it was there. The vet is amazed and wouldn't believe it if she hadn't seen it when it was so big. The vet says it was probaly a wart of some sort and now thinks it was good I didn't remove it.

I was hoping someone might be able to help me with something similar.  My 13 year old cat Vincent grew this lump about a month ago.  Doesn't seem to bother him at all.  It's on his rear end.  One more seems to be growing now though. Should I be concerned?

I would take him in for a check up. That's a fairly large growth to pop up so quickly.
