Hi, my bf was reading an article in the paper yesterday and mentioned it, I have jsut been looking into it and it doesn't sound good. Thing is, I rang my vet to ask if TB is included in his vac's and she told me that there areno vacs for cats and TB. She also said that it was very uncommon and unlikely that my cat could get it. I am worried though. I also live very close, metres in fact away from cattle and therefore my cat that goes outside is maybe going to be in contact with them. I have posted the link. I know a lot of people here keep there cats indoors, but mine has always gone outside and I like him to be out in the fresh air. Not though if he could get TB. Could anyone advise me on this? My vet did say that it was very unlikely but I don't know. Thanks.

All I can say is that I have never heard of a cat with TB.

I'm sure someone else will have more helpful information.

Good, thansk for the reassurance, I did speak to the vet and she said the same thing, no need to worry then. Maybe DEFRA were right and its just scare mongering. Some want a big badger cull and I suppose they are using such tactics to get the public on side! Thanks again.
