I woke up this morning to find a dead mouse in front of my bedroom door.
One of DH's, grandma's, cats caught it and gave it to me.

I think it's hilarious how us cat lovers would describe a gift of a dead mouse as "sweet".

So, did you thank him for it? :p

Yeah i always feel bad for the poor animal they bring.. But Ive never gotten anything from Monster or Mittens, they dont go outside. My grandmothers cat Korrina was an outside cat and he always brought home birds, mice, whatever else he could get, & she always told me that cats do that & she calls them presents lol. Korrina was a sweety, & he only drank out of the faucet, he wouldnt drink from a bowl, so my grandmom would always leave the faucet on a trickle so that he could get a drink whenever. Once, we were visiting her in Florida after she moved there, and Korrina brought home a bird, but it was still alive, I was crying and everything, because i felt bad for the bird and there was nothing i could do to save its life. he didnt kill it, he dropped it at my gmoms feet. But it did die, and i felt horrible!!
