RIP Wellington

On my way to Costco/Petsmart today, I saw a dog lying dead on the side of the road - obviously, he had been hit by a car. From the quick glance I got, it looked like a doberman. I have "named" him Wellington, as that is the road he was found on. On my way back home, he was no longer there, so I'm hoping his owners found him and gave him a proper burial/cremation.

I see so many dead cats and dogs on the roads its terrible.

It's always heartbreaking to see a dog, cat (or any animal) that has lost it's life along the side of the road. We just have to trust that they've gone to a better, happier place. RIP Wellington.

I have found myself sobbing in my car after seeing an animal that had been killed by a car....

I am glad that you posted a remembrance to Wellington.

This sent a shudder through me as I have a cat named Wellington! But I hope his owners found the dog.

Poor thing He should be across the bridge by now
