I got 74 wpm, with no errors. I type faster when I'm just typing freely, than when I'm copying something.

Take the test, and tell us (and be honest!) how fast you can type. If you try again later, and improve your score, tell us!
That test came up at 55 wpm, but that was with making corrections as I went along. My last official test, about 20 years ago, was 80 wpm, but I only got up to about 65 wpm in high-school typing.

Now I must stop taking typing tests.
I had the same problem. I ended up the first time with 64 wpm.

I typed at 78 wpm with no errors on the first test. I did have to back space a few times to make corrections. (It's not considered an error unless you don't catch and correct it.) I kind of tripped me up having the test to type right above the typing area. Felt kind of weird. Most of the time I can type over 80+ wpm w/no errors. My boss is always baffled when he comes up to my desk and I look at him, listen and just keep typing really fast.

93 wpm with no errors. But then I have been touch-typing for nearly 30 years. I taught myself (from a Pitman's book) when I was in High School. I love writing and wanted to be able to type fast enough to keep up with my thoughts.

80 words per minute! I used to not be able to type correctly until high school when I discovered instant messaging. That's always been so strange to me.

108 words per minute, 0 errors.

Took the test 1 time and am 6th on their scoreboard.

I type A LOT.

The test has one oddity. When you make a mistake such as and extra space, miss a letter, or add a letter, it counts every keystroke after that as an error because the letters are no longer aligned with the test text.

I did it once purposely just to see what would happen and it told me I had 81 words per minute with 247 errors!

110 wpm, with 1 error.

Weird thing is that on the other typing tests that I usually take I score about 76wpm... so maybe this typing test just gives higher wpm results? Not sure, or maybe my fingers are extra speedy today. =)

That drove me nuts too. I did it a few times without finishing because that annoyed me.
I finally managed it with correcting mistakes early on and got 71wpm, which is higher than I expected.
