My 10 week old kitten started limping Sunday night (13 days after her first vaccination). I took her to the vet Monday morning. Couldn't find anything wrong just gave banine for the pain. The rest of the day the kitten was fine. Then Tuesday she was very ill and even had a fever of 104. Took her back to the vet ran a bunch of tests and nothing. Wednesday the fever was down to 102 and the kitten started eating again. Today she is acting normal again.

I believe this was limping Calici caused by her vaccination, my vet does not really think so but seems unsure. I did a search online and I think this really sounds like limping calici. I am also convinced this was caused by her vaccination.

This kitten is due for vaccinations again this Monday. I called and rescheduled for a week later. But I am not sure I should vaccinate this kitten again. My vet thinks I should. I was thinking of maybe just doing the panleukopenia. What should I do?

I am sure the problem was caused by a shot.
My Lucy is dead because of a shot and i still feel bad about it.
Meeko got very sick on the Leukemia shot also.
I get them the Distemper Shots but no Rabies or Leukemia.

The kitten did not get rabies or leukemia. It was the 4-way modified live by Fort Dodge.

I believe the modified live do tend to cause more reactions than the killed. My Maggie usually has a sore leg for about 24 hours after her vaccination, but it never lasts longer than 24 hours.

My vet only orders the 4-way. Would order the 3-way for me if I had 10 cats to vaccinate but I don't.
