Okay, I know there are about 60,000 wedding threads right now... but I'm feeling girly today, so I'm making another one

I know a lot of people are traditional/superstitious/whatever about showing their dress before the big day, but I'm not one of them. I'd love to see some dresses! So if you're not against it, post a picture of your dress! Or, post a picture of you in your dress if you're already married

I'll start..

This one's mine: http://www.edenbridals.com/2254-ttts-p-1171.html

Here's Jess's: http://www.beachcomberbride.com/wedd...82_1_.jpg.html

They definitely reflect how different we are
But hey, they're both taffeta, so they sort of go together, right? Hahaha.

OMG, Kaete! yours is just beautiful!! I love the "folksy" look of it, very Joni Mitchell
Jess' is a little more sophisticate, not my style at all
I wish I had a digital pic of mine, I loved that dress

Wow, you all have such beautiful dresses! Emrldsky (sorry if I spelled your user name wrong, my internet is having issues so it's not popping up for me to copy and paste!), you are beautiful in your dress!

Kaete, both of those dresses are gorgeous, you two and your wedding will be completely stunning!

Since you asked, here's mine.
It's kind of a funky pose, but it's the best detail picture that I have available to me here at work!

You can see a larger picture (I think) if you'd like.
Wow that is so pretty!

This is mine. I have pictures of me in it from when I tried it on but I don't want to post them here incase my fiance goes snooping. If anyone wants to see them, pm me. The fuchsia is not as bright as it looks in the picture.

The front. The sleeves are removable and I haven't decided whether I am going to wear them or not.

Mine really could have been sized better
The lady who altered it didn't even do a final fitting! I probably should have just bought one my size but I was figuring it looked alright and I had no intentions of spending more than $100 on a dress anyway! Then when I tried it on again it was still a little baggy, boo.

I'm wearing it with the straps as I don't want to feel conscious of my shoulders!
Ohhh, I love that, especially with the straps! I like the look of strapless gowns but they definitely don't look right on me. I tried on a few but I just looked like I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me!

Here's mine from 3 years ago (3 years ago tomorrow to be exact!

That dress is GORGEOUS!!! I like it with the strapps the best. It's a nice feminine and elegant touch!!

Here is a couple scanned pictures of me in my dress in 2003. (clickable) It was pouring the day of our wedding so we had only indoor pictures, and the low ceilings with florescent lights weren't helping, so they turned them off. The result was that (to me anyway) my dress looks more white (it was ivory) than it did in the natural light and you can't see all the embroidery and beading details. I'm hoping to have some pictures of the dress itself taken sometime soon.
