Morning folks!

Well, its going to be sunny today with a high of 12 Its chilly, but at least its sunny!

I dreamed of snow last night...it must be right around the corner

I found out yesterday I have to go for training for 2 weeks in Hamilton...with no hometime breaks Josh will be here to look after Trout...but man I have never been away from her for 2 weeks straight I don't think!

Strange that I have to have training for 2 weeks...I have already been doing claims for a while now...

Anyhoo, just heading to work, and then Josh and I are going to work out tonight. Then the dishes must be done...fun stuff!

Have a good day everyone!

It is suppose to be a nice day today. As nice as it can get in october anyway. I think it will be in the mid 60. I get to clean most the day cause there are some investors coming to look at the house on thursday. I will also be going to lunch with a friend and then watching another friends baby so she can go to a job thing.

Two weeks away from Trout!? She'll be ok. She'll be extra snuggly when you get back, provided Josh doesn't spoil her rotten!

I'm working at the MS Research job today. I have to train someone new starting. That should be fun. I hope she's "normal" and that she at least knows how to type! Of the 2 that are working with me, one can type about 25 words per minute, the other can't! She types with 2 fingers and has to look for each letter no matter how many times she's pressed it already! Not really productive.

After work I'm coming home and making veggie burgers to freeze.

My homecare girl, Janet is coming today. My hours are so screwy and she comes on Tuesday and Tuesday I work all day, and my days where I have afternoons off don't jive with her schedule. So her and I made private arrangements for her to come while I'm at work, because I still need help with cleaning. I've been so tired when I get home that I'm in bed by 7pm most nights and on weekends I'm so beat that all I want to do is catch up on sleep, rest my body and mend my aches and pains. Once I'm back to work and getting paid, I'll still need help with the cleaning. My back just can't stand up to vacuuming and floors. So I'm hiring her privately at that time.

Anyway, gotta go and finish getting dressed, and then give cuddles to my kitties before going.

Morning All!!!

Sunny but really chilly here this morning, very heavy frost outside.

Heading off to work in a bit, spending the day catching up on odds and ends, and working on purchase orders with my replacement so he is ready to take over next week.
He is coming along well but there are still a few things he needs to learn.

After Work I have several errands to run, bank, pet store, and I want to go down to the waterfront if I have time. All the little shops will be closing up this weekend for the season and there are tons of bargains right now.

The kitties are good this morning, just had some treats and are sitting in the middle of the living room floor giving each other baths..They always help each other with the hard to reach spots..

Everyone have a great day

Hello everyone!!

Its a mild day for October with rain later in the afternoon and evening. A bit breezy too.

Got some housekeeping stuff done, made some salsa with the last of the garden tomatoes and want to start on the cheeseburger chowder for dinner tonite.

Have to then work on my 3rd batch of concrete leaves (will post samples) tonite and hopefully on the ceiling in the family room.

Busy at work yesterday and of course the city health/food inspector was in and the owners out of town!!

Bakker is being good so far but Grizzlie is still hiding from him and Bobs is patrolling the yard!!

Have a good day -)

Oh No! Trout withdrawal! I am sure you will be so busy you won't have time to think. At least you know she will be well taken care of. I am sure she plotted this on purpose to steal your man away.

Evening everyone

This morning I got up at the crack of dawn and took care of Bailey then went back to bed for a bit. I love her, but i'll be glad when she goes back to my sister's house....I have not had a decient nights sleep since she's been here

When I woke up again I made some early lunch and got dressed then DH and I went to run some errands. I went to Walgreens and got my flu shot then I went to Target to get a new yoga mat (ya!) and some other necessities.

After we did that we had to stop by the police precienct for DH to pick some stuff up from work then we stopped and got something quick for dinner and took it home. After we ate we went to a local church for my nephew Isaac's band concert. We sat with my sister and brother in law during the concert so that was nice. My nephew was soo cute too- I think his trombone was almost as big as he was

Unfortunately I forgot my ear plugs though, so that kind of stunk (it was the beginner band's first ever concert.) Next time DH and I decided we will have a good stiff drink before the Christmas concert rolls around Reallly though, they all did pretty good- they were all as cute as could be too!

When DH and I got home we watched the presidental debates and as I expected almost killed each other over our different views. I pretty much said "we have different views on ....., lets just agree to disagree" but he wants to argue....err ...force his views on me so yea that never works I told him we really should just agree not to talk about politics with each other because it never ends pretty
