Does anyone happen to know much about blood work? My male kitten that just was neutered has high 14.8 HGB and 21.01 MCH on surgery day. Reading about metacam oral pain shots made me abit concerned if I should continue these 3 days of .42ml shots on him. I already lost one cat so perhaps I am abit paranoid at moment, he does seem quite active already.

Does High HGB or MCH have anything do with kidneys?

Both of those values are related to the red blood cells and should not affect the kidneys. Also, they aren't extremely high. Do you have the normal ranges from the lab that did the test? I suspect that they will be barely above the top number. For some labs they are still within the normal range.
