Anna - My new Bengal girl

Actually, I've had her for almost three months now. In July, a close family friend died and left four cats. I was asked if I would take Annie, as she was called. There is more to the story, but since this is the picture section I had probably post pictures!

Here's Anna

Here she is exploring for the first time.

The other cat is Furrari who was showing her around.

She has settled beautifully, except for still being cautious of the dogs.

Thank you for the compliments. She is a real sweetheart. Anna turned one year old last month.

She was only separated from the boys (Elija Blue-eyes and Furrari) for four days. At that point they were touching nose through the pen I had her in and I let her out.

When she joined us in July, Furrari was still grieving for Freya (my heart cat I lost in February to lymphosarcoma). He cried and cried and in July was still searching the house for her. Since Anna arrived he has been much more content and stopped crying.

Furrari and his new best friend.

Anna is an absolutely gorgeous girl! How much does she weigh? And on that note, how much does Furrari weight? He looks huge next to her!

I absolutely love seeing pictures of them. Hint, hint.

For those who commented on the size difference - Furrari is 16 years old and weighs only 10 lbs. and Miss Anna just turned 1 year old last month and weighs seven lbs. There is quite a bit of difference in coat and bone structure between the two.

Furrari has CRF and it has been a battle since January to put more/keep weight on him. The vet was pleased with 10 lbs (weighed last Saturday). At his prime he weighed 14 lbs of solid muscle. He is a big boy and maybe part Maine Coon. I my old man cat.

Oh, yes, I think Miss Anna's rossettes are just amazing! I had only seen pictures of Bengals (like Kia Bengals absolutely gorgeous babies!) but never one in purrson. Her coat feels like the finest silk. Can you tell I've fallen for her as much as Furrari has?

She and Eli (also known as Elija Blue-eyes) love to chase each other up and down the hall, from the cat room to my bedroom and back. Ever notice that a seven lb. cat galloping on a hardwood floor sounds like it weighs a ton?

Here's a picture of Eli so he doesn't feel left out. Sorry for the blur.
