The basics are: Maine Coons: long, rectangle bodies, square muzzles, shaggy coat NFC's: more square body, shorter tail, denser coat (layered) and a more triangle shaped face (muzzle is slightly more pointed). Because they are similar, in the show ring, I look at the heads, because at first glance they do like alike
