This isn't good. Little Charlotte (one of my cats) jumped on the computer desk before I could get the lid back on my drink. I ended up spilling my drink and ruined almost all of my 38 pages of Algebra homework, and it splashed on my monitor. My monitor is now cutting in and out, so I need to pick up a new one Monday and I'm in the middle of redoing my homework. We have an exam Monday and ALL of the homework for this test needs to turned in Monday. I had to call in to work so I can get it done. I need to review for the exam anyway.

Oh so sorry she knocked your drink onto your homework and your monitor. Do you have it finished yet ? I love her name by the way but I would end up calling her Charlie all the time. I always wanted to have a little girl and name them something like Charolette so I could give them a tomboyish nickname.
And one of my favorite books is the True Confessions of Charolette Doyle. She did just want to love you though so I would give her some more kisses.

Thanks. I'm not mad at her. I wasn't paying attention to what was going on, it was my fault. She's a little cutie, loves attention and is very playful.

I have to admit that I wasn't the one who gave her the name Charlotte. Char-Char and her brother, Everest, were rescues. The lady I adopted them from named them, I liked the names and kept them.

I'm almost finished with my homework. Two more sections to go and then the reviews for both chapters then I'll be ready for my exam on Monday.

yeah I started filling my drinks half way and keeping them a couple feet from my keyboard for just this reason. i've replaced two keyboards already (expensive ones).

Sorry to hear. I can't imagine the drain you felt seeing all that work go to pot.

Good luck on the exam. many .

I know how you feel, Tom has a habit of spilling things to and he also likes to sit on my homework while I'm trying to do it. Its actually kind of nice because I can take only so many epsilon N proofs before my brain starts to leak out of my nose.

This is one reason I bought spill proof beverage containers to use when on the computer.

That's why I've gotten in the habit of keeping anything I'm drinking on another table. Glad to hear you've just about got the homework redone.
that the test goes well.

Kahu loves to intentionally knock over my drinks while watching me so I drink out of a bottle now.

I'm going to have to get those of plastic cups with the sip lids on them. The monitor works as long as I leave it on but it's still a bit glitchy. I've been wanting a larger monitor anyway, now seems as good as a time as any.

Thanks for the exam vibes.

Homework is all caught up. Chapter reviews are finished. I'm as ready for my exam as I'll ever be. The only things that give me a little trouble are volume and, sometimes, like terms (mostly because I miss a number or some other lack of attention to detail). I need to make sure I take it nice and slow. I got an "A" on my first exam so I want to get another "A" on this one.
