This seems to be a good site on what the presidential candidates are for. Hopefully people enjoy it and learn a little bit more about who they are voting for. What do you Think?

If anyone has anything else that is good and as non bias as can be please post here.

That's very informative. Thank you for posting it.

I've started two threads, one about Foreign Policy, and one about Health Care based on articles published in the mainstream media, but ... "Mainstream" is apparently the equivalent to "leftist" in some posters' opinions.

It is! I've been following Pennsylvania news, in an attempt to make an informed choice, but there's virtually nothing in the state/local news about Nader or Barr.

me, too - altho the only new thing i learned was this: Your political philosophy is Populist Conservative.
i didn't know it had a name!
the candidates pretty much matched up. i match more closely to one of the independent candidates - but i'd prefer voting for someone who has a chance of winning.

A lot of people match up with the independent candidates but are like you and vote for one of the two mainstream candidates for the same reasons.

True I think if more and more people just vote for who they want instead who has a chance then one day the independent will be one of them that have a chance. However I am guilty of voting for one of the people that have a chance as well.

Great sites, very informative and easy to get the information. Thank you both for posting them.

Now if only Wes Clark and Elizabeth Dole would run on the same ticket I would have a clear choice to vote for .

i did that, one year. it was the year Bill Clinton won the election.
now, i know my 1 vote had no effect on his winning... but who knows how many other people did something similar, & feel the same way?
after that, i decided to vote for a main candidate - unless both were heinous people [hasn't happened - not even Clinton could be considered heinous!].
Clinton did a lot of good things during his presidency.
