Hi all, I rescued a kitten from someone who was giving them away and they had been orphaned by their mom. The people that had her had kept up with her shots and wormings before she left and gave me her record book. So they took care of her and she has been healthy. A while back she had gotten worms from eating the bugs and things, so I got her some medicine and got rid of those. Now she is throwing up everyday, like she is sick. Does anyone know what could be wrong with her? I thought when the first time she did it she was just throwing up because she ate too much food, but she has done it today for the 2nd time. Could it be the food or something? She has fresh food and water everyday. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated!

If she continues to throw up you need to get her to a vet.

A few weeks ago Zara was throwing up everything she ate and the vet found she had a bladder infection. 24 hours on an antibiotic and she was fine. Zara didn't act sick, just threw up a lot.

Ok, thanks! Glad I found out before it got bad, if it does. I hope she doesn't throw up too much! She has been throwing up clear, fluid.. I don't think she did that the first time she threw up though.

I'd take her to the vet and have him run some tests and check her out. It could be from food, medicine, etc. How old is the kitten now?

I think throwing up clear fluid is a bad sign. I think that means it isn't stomach upset caused by something she ate. I wouldn't let it go on for more than 24 hrs or so before getting to a vet.
