My son was around 10 yrs old when he got to see our rex give birth. He wanted to stay home from school to watch the rest of them being born

I would always break the seal on the mouth so the kitten could breathe quicker, then let mom take over.

I really do not mind kids seeing it, all of my kids did after she had her 3rd I let them watch her 4th come, wanted to be sure things were going smooth first.

Having kittens is so fun - The pregnancy ( watching them grow and the kittens move on the inside ) The birth ( watching them be born and be a part of it ) and watching them grow etc. Ahh, love cats!
