A hiker found his pilots license and other documents yesterday near Mammoth Lakes, a lot further south than the area they were searching, so they searched the area and found his plane wreckage.

Must give his wife some comfort to at least know where it happened, and hopefully they can figure out what happened.

But no body yet? (I haven't seen the news yet.) Or if the body is with the plane, how did the documents get away from the site of the crash?

I keep hoping he may be alive somewhere, may have just wanted to disappear for some reason... but then I hoped that about JFK Jr., too.

The officials say no human remains yet, but that isn't unusual in that area, due to the animals.

However, if no remains at all are found (not even a single bone), it will probably fuel the theories of those who think he disappeared on purpose and is alive elsewhere.

I've been keeping up with the articles online (till about 4 this afternoon). They said there was human and animal hair on the sweatshirt the guy found. They didn't say if for sure it was his sweatshirt though.

I hope this gives his family and friends some closure about it all. What a tragedy for any family to experience!
