Yet another expensive experiment

And yet another failure.

The cats seems to not like walking on wire shelving. In fact, for the longest time, they've seemed to avoid it. So, I bought a huge wire shelving unit to keep all the computer stuff on, to keep it from getting knocked over, full of cat hair, etc, etc;

And, another complete and total failure

He has the classic 'you thought you outsmarted me' look on his face. Cats always find a way around our best laid plans.

I was thinking about that looking at it. It would have been all well and good if they stayed off it, but as it looks like their going to be walking around on it, I think I'll cover the wire shelves with some rubber matting I have, to keep kitty feet from stepping between the wires.

Well if you notice, he's not actually on the wire shelving, so that part actually seems to work.


Is that a look of smug satisfaction I see on his face?
