There are two games running on titles (Movies and Music), but here's a challege.

It's easy to google a title. Much harder to google lyrics.

So, I'll choose a word. Let's see how many of you can find a song with that word in the lyrics but NOT in the title!

For a little try at it, let's see how many can find a song with the word "snow" in the lyrics. There should be a bunch of them.

After we let this word run for a while, someone else can choose another word. Shall we say, after 30 songs?

One of the easiest:

"Another Auld Lang Syne," by Dan Fogelberg.

So... we want a song with 'snow' in the lyrics, but NOT the title? ie... "Snow-blind Friend" is incorrect but "Jingle Bells" is correct because of the "Dashing through the snow" line?

I listen to a lot of bands that are from Norway, Sweden, and Finland - finding songs with "snow" in the lyrics is easy enough given they usually all have to sing about winter at some point...

First band and song that popped into my head (vocalist is Norwegian so it proves the snow/winter theme theory
).
The Black Halo - Kamelot The last track on same album "Epilogue" has snow in the lyrics, too.

Would "snows" count, as well?

Exactly correct.

I figure this word is easy. I could think of some hard ones. We'll do those later!

I love that song!

How about "I Am a Rock" by Simon and Garfunkel

gazing from my window
to the streets below
on a freshly fallen, silent shroud of snow...

Desperado, by Don Henley & Glenn Frey

"...Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine..."

Oh, and another of my very favorite songs:

Sweet Baby James, by James Taylor

"...Now the first of December was covered with snow
And so was the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston..."

"I'll Be Home for Christmas" I have no idea who first sang this, but it's one of my favorite Christmas songs

'I'll be home for Christmas, you can plan on me;
please have snow, and mistletoe,
and presents on the tree.'

White Christmas, by Irving Berlin Recorded by Bing Crosby. This is probally my favorite Christmas song

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow "

Over the river and through the woods...
"My Favorite Things" from Sound of Music

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snow flakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

In the snow!!!!
Here's one that isn't a Christmas Carol:

Wolves by Garth Brooks

Lord, please shine a light of hope
On those of us who fall behind
And when we stumble in the snow
Could you help us up while there's still time

Clouds lift and there're mountains below
Been awhile since I've seen any snow

many of the popular commercial ones will, for certain. church ones, not so much!
but here's my entry: It's Christmas Time [The Carpenters]

It looks like snow
And falls like snow
Take a moment
Take a look about and say
As snowflakes fall
Merry Christmas to one and all

"Aspenglow" by John Denver Very pretty song.

'See the sunlight through the pine,
Taste the warm of winter wine,
Dream of softly falling snow,
Winter skol, Aspenglow'

(skol = a toast)

45 Miles - Todd Snider

There's a truck turned over on the highway
Flares burning out of the snow
Freezing rain in the passing lane
I got forty five miles to go
