I think $1-$2 is fair.

Wow, talk about inflation! I seem to remember thinking a quarter was a good profit!!!
I seem to recall a dime being a decent haul -- but that was back in the Dark Ages.
Yeah.... i remember when i lost MY teeth. i was so thrilled when i received my first 5 dollars for my first tooth. I've always been a business man so naturally I thought of someway to exploit the system. I began knocking my teeth out night by night. One by one, long story short by the end of the week i had 35 bucks.... actually no i just thought that sounded funny...
but 10$ is good.

I think my nieces and nephews get $5, but my niece left a note for the tooth fairy one night and asked her/him if they were a boy or a girl, the answer is a GIRL
