Shelter day 9/29/08

Did my shelter work this morning.

Good news: Hope got adopted. She was 6 years old, appeared to be a snowshoe, and was a real lover. Spayed and declawed.

Bad news: Her cage-mate, from the same home, is still there. She's 13 years old, but a real cuddler and looking not to bad for her age.

Worse news: A frowzy little long-haired tiger kitten was returned from adoption. Someone in the family turned out to be allergic.

I really have to hand it to those of you that can volunteer or work in shelters. I could never do it.
I am glad Hope got a furrever home, now let's get some vibes for her cage mate and the returned kitten.
