I thought he was dead! He is alive and well and new Opus!!??? I love that squishy foot penguin! I can draw him, Bill the cat too, lol, it a talent lost on most folks.

I have a "Bloom County" book I read when sad, it makes me laugh, queston my political belifes and wack a mime with an olive loaf

Actually, he's been doing Sunday comics for a long time. After Bloom County was closed up, he did a spin-off, but that, I think, was too dark for most people. Opus has been a Sunday feature for a long time.

Oddly enough, in the little oil company I once worked at (1983-1986), the guy who was the model for "Steve Dallas" was our corporate lawyer. He and Breathed went to UT together.

He also supports adopting shelter animals:

I also have a copy of "Billy and the Boingers" with the record in it still.

Oh no way, He was your corp laywer?? That just made me about fall off my chair! I remember the spin off he did, it was a bit morose. No dandlion stomping or snake hunting. For those not familiar with this, its worth a read, good stuff. I can also draw the monster in Binkly's closet

Now try to convince me that monster and that closet was not the inspiration for "Monsters, Inc."

I have never seen that show, do they intoudce scary things at them? I have to go dig my book out, seriously people, good stuff..
