We have a little long-haired dark tabby kitten. He looks like he could resemble a Maine Coon. I got him out of his cage and handed him to my wife, Dottie. He snuggled down in her arms and fired up the purr motor. The look of bliss on her face was priceless.
About 20 years ago, she had another one that this one could be the identical twin to. He was little, mouthy, and a lover. We named him Truman (after Truman Capote). He slept next to her head every night, purring in her ear. She was devastated when he died, apparently of a stroke, when he was only 6 years old.
I could see the memories rolling backward as she cuddled this little love bug. It's a good thing we already have the legal quota on cats!
