If someone came into your home and looked at all the books in your bookshelf, would they be able to make an accurate determination about what type of person you are?

Only if you think I'm a vampire, werewolf, otherworld book loving fool.

O-H-I-O!
Since I don't have a bookshelf, they would have to look in my drawers and they would see that I only have a handful of books and most of them are Nicholas Sparks-I guess it would make sense that I am a romantic
SO yeah I guess they would see what kind of person I am

Although his books ALWAYS have a tragic ending. I don't think I am tragic however

They would probably think I was one sick puppy!
They find 2 entire shelves of books on Halloween and Wicca, tons of Stephen King, murder mysteries, history/genealogy, crafts, country decorating, a set of Harry Potter, and a handful of books on baseball. Also tons of cookbooks, cat books, and kids books (my favorite is "Dr. Goat") I have fairly eclectic tastes.

My shelves are full of:

cat books
fantasy books
vampire romance books

draw your own conclusions!

Oh, and the occasional theoretical physics books (Stephen Hawking, Brian Greene, etc.)

What a fun question!

Let's see... The bookshelf in my living room has: family photo albums; Japanese dictionaries / books / manga / other things to study from; "documentary style" on Yellowstone, astronomy, search and rescue, my pets (chins, dogs, cats); mystery / sci-fi / horror / fantasy books (including Harry Potter in English and Japanese!
).

So if from that you gathered that I'm family oriented, likes Japanese language and culture, expandng my knowledge, and reading books that get my pulse going, yes, you sure can tell what type of person I am!

Probably - at least some hobbies and the type of people we are. Right now there are many books realating to auction, etc., a lot of religious books, and relationship books.

I have a few miscellaneous type of books too.

They would probably think I was getting ready to poison my husband or kids.

Or that I think you can travel through time.

They'll know that I am crazy about CATS especially, her well being. And they'll know I am a huge Nature and Photography lover.

I have a lot of Stephen King & Dean Koontz books. But I also love to read Sidney Sheldon, Jacqueline Susanne, Irving Wallace, and a few others. So I really don't know what anyone would think.

Hmmmm.....

Cat books, quilting books, all kinds of medical reference books, nursing textbooks, books about German wines, humming birds, Alaska tour guides, a couple of books about Salvadore Dali, shelves and shelves of novels (and boxes and boxes full too...most of them hard cover, because I'm too impatient to wait for them to come out in paperback) librettos of shows that I costumed, the collected poems of R. W. Service, The Complete Calvin and Hobbes, HTML for Dummies, several cook books.

I suppose that my bookshelves would confirm that I am, indeed, a Gemini.
