I'm just curious what kinds of things that you all collect. I'm a big collector on Angel nicknacks....but usually I give them to my Mom. She loves them and she will not buy things like this for herself, so I still get to enjoy them and so does she. I believe the last count of the Angel stuff in our house is 119 actual figurines and a few more odds & end type things.

Another thing that I love to collect is Anne Geddes merchandise. I just love those dolls! My parents thought I was going nuts when I asked for a Anne Geddes doll for Christmas! I've got the larger dolls (a daffodil, a squirrel, a bear, a sunflower) and the smaller ones (a leopard, a cheeta, a hedgehog, a bumble bee and a bunny)! Plus I bought a Calendar with actual photos of babies dressed as animals and etc. I cut out the pictures and put them in frames...cheap wall hangings!

OH..I almost forgot my NASCAR collection! I've got a couple of die cast cars and lot of Dale Earnhardt Jr stuff (rugs, coffee mugs, flag, shirts and etc.).

So...what do you collect?

Sue, I read your collection of "Barbies" as "Babies"
I was a bit confused for a moment.

And I don't really have anything that I collect. I like CDs and DVDs, and love adding to my collection of those, but that's not the same really. I do love picture frames though... they're the only decoration I keep around the house.

I collect memorabilia from my father's 1950's/1960's career in show business! I'm all about Ebay! I also have a sweet collection of colorful cat paintings (all purchased through ebay).

I'm not a real serious collector on anything.
I guess I would have to say Puffkins, they are stuffed animals LIKE beanie babies, but I think they are far cuter!

I used to collect rocks/stones/gems and bandana's but not anymore.

I would some day like to collect swords however.

Here's a puffkin, they come in all sorts of animals and colours. VERY adorible.
Heck I just like to collect all stuff animals but I love this one line.

I collect Steiff Teddy bears and Swarovski Crystals. I started collecting them in germany and cant stop! I also have a collection of Happy Meal toys, but I stopped collecting them when my kids refused to eat another hamburger happy meal again! ha! I did collect beanie babies when they were popular, but sold them while the prices were still high and decided it wasnt worth the effort of looking for them and I have a small collection of Ty Attic collectibles, but I dont buy them anymore.

I collect Fiestaware

It was originally manufactured in the 30's and 40's, and the company started the line again recently. Most of my pieces are new, but I have a few vintage pieces.

My neighbor has already promised me this set for my birthday (he's given me a lot of my new place settings):

I hoard books. You really can't call it collecting. I can't just walk past a bookstore, and most of the ones I buy I keep, to reread later. When I get to about a thousand (we even have shelves in the attic), my husband makes me get rid of a few hundred. Needless to say, I love used books and Amazon.

I have a hard time resisting cat figurines of course.

My mom has Fiesta ware displayed in her house. Beautiful colors.

I collect unusual teapots and tea cups/saucers. I'm not adding to my collection, beacause I have quite a few already. I don't have any more space to display them. I love all things victorian or english country. I really perfer old things or reproductions to new things. I also collecttable clothes (especially vintage) and anything lace. Max favorite place to sleep is on one of my pink wing back chair and he loves to sit or sleep on the top of the chair because it is high. I might as well invest in that company that makes those sticky rollers.

i used to collect Hardrock cafe t shirts from everywhere. i had a pretty large collection (even one from Moscow.) i asked a friend from Boston to ship the entire box of collection to me when i first moved here from Boston.

i never received them, and i never hear from her again. That was the end of any collection.

Michelle, i love angels A LOT - art, figures, etc.

Now, i just help my nieces in Singapore with their collections by sending an item or two every now and then - one niece of mine loves collecting teddy bears (i love teddy bears too) and another collects Barbie dolls.

Cheers!
