Perhaps because this crisis is
more important than the election. Suspending the campaign until Congress and the Bush Administration get a resolution hammered out is not going to kill the campaign. Sometimes a person has to do what is right no matter the consequences. To me, it shows John McCain puts Country first. From all I have been hearing, they Must
have a resolution by the time Wall Street opens Monday morning.
Suspending the campaign for a few days to a week, for the greater good won't harm anything.
Geesh, just yesterday, Harry Reid was demanding
McCain come to Washington and okay the deal.http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/2...n-involvement/
Link has video of Harry Reid saying John McCain needs to come to Washington to tell them what to do.
Then today when McCain decides to suspend his campaign and go help out, Harry Reid tells him not to come. Well Harry, which is it? That man is such a tool. And I have voted for him. Never, ever again.

Plus, what with airplanes and all, can't he do both? I've heard they can get you from one place to another pretty quick.
Is there some reason he can't fly roundtrip from Washington to Mississippi for the debate? Or restage the debate in Washington?
