I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Below the links I also posted both articles.

Please read both articles and sign petition.

Please pass this around to your family, friends and other animal lovers and lovers of justice.

The petition is actually against the writer of the two articles.

Please also feel free to email the editor of the newspaper.

OMG this is awful!!! Andrea Peyser is evil. The cat beater needs to prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and Andrea Peyser needs to be fired for her article. I signed the petition!

I agree its horrible and I can't believe the newspaper approved that article !!!

Please pass those links around to all your friends.
Please also point out to them that there is contact info for the editor
and to email the editor of the paper.

Here is a letter my friend emailed to both the author of the article, (which
I personally think was a waste of time), and to the editor which is a better idea.

Dear Ms. Peyser.
Are you out of your mind?
You think it's okay, even amusing, to murder an animal?
Are you aware that many serial killers started out as animal killers?
For people who enjoy killing, it is a mere hop skip and jump from animal to human.
It is NOT okay to kill something that bites you.
If her child had bitten him, would it be okay for him to "knock it away" so violently
that the child died?
Just because you don't care for animals doesn't make those of us that do, "nuts".
Your callousness stuns and offends me.
I will be sending this to the editor of the paper, as well, since I believe you should be fired.

Yes I agree animal curelty should be a felony every where. There was this man we put a dog in the oven here in utah cause he was mad at his girlfriend and it sparked a lot of controversy. The lady that owned the dog helped it to become a felony to treat animals like that. I think it was on the books to become a felony before that but this case helped it out a lot. I am so thankful it just passed this year.

Allright RosieMac! I signed the petition also. I'd like to take a ball bat to her AND the coward that killed the cat. Worthless humans.....

I signed the petition! God help the woman who wrote that article(and the man who killed the cat) if I ever meet them!
there are soo many bad words to describe Andrea Peyser, but I'm sure they aren't half-bad enough!!! She ignores not only the rights of the cat, she also ignores the fact that the girlfriend was KNEED in the ribs and grabbed by the neck by that *******jerk so that he could complain to her that the cat had bitten him.
I am sure that Norman's ownwer is haunted by the fact that she left poor Norman there, while she fled to a neighbor's to safely call the police. By the time she returned, the cat was still & cold Why did she not take her cat? Why did it take her so long to return to him??? I guess it was a case of battered-woman's syndrome

I've signed those recent ones as well. Actually, i thought i might have heard from that Peysner woman because i sent her a short, sharp e-mail while i was on a roll
post #14 of 20
What is wrong with that woman? I signed and am passing it along. I will even take it further because this is outrageous. Her views are disgusting and say a lot about her lack of character.

Dear Ms. Peyser,

I have 9, yes, 9 litter boxes with your name on them (and I have lined them with a copy of your articles, complete with your photo). I would love to have you over for dinner some night; I would be most honored to have you sample my famous specialty: Face In the Litter Box Chunky Stew.

I have also made a donation in your name (I just knew you would LOVE this, given your abundant love for animals) to the local no-kill shelter. I also signed you up as a volunteer; they said they needed someone who did not mind scooping litter boxes, so of course I thought of you right away--I knew you would be so happy to help them, as you are such a champion of animal rights. Oh, BTW, it is in the cat wing of the shelter--I know how much you adore cats! And I am sure Sid Vicious (one of the shelter;s cats) would just LOVE you! I should warn you that he IS a tad anti-social toward humans, and has to live in isolation due to his huge size and temper (and there was that unfortunate incident with the lady; but she promised not to sue, and her medical insurance did end up covering all of her wounds), but I know you and Sid will get along just fine!

Regards,

MargeCat

(And, BTW folks, I just sent this via email to Ms. Peyser, and am off to do the litter boxes now...really...I told Marge to do her best!)

Oh good grief, i'd love to see her face when she reads that I loved the bit about the litterboxes being lined with her article and picture

Thanks! I had so much fun composing the email (and lining the litterboxes). Within 5 minutes, Smudge had, shall we say, chistened her pic!

I don't even get why she would go to the cat show ? The paper must
be doing this on purpose. They must know how much she hates cats
so for entertainment and for shock value I guess they must send her
to cover cat stuff ?
