I felt like writing something dark today.

I hate hiding this
Keeping silent
All these feelings
These thoughts spinning
Through my mind
To speak of them
To bring them to light
Would ease a great pain
I’m afraid
Afraid of the ramification
Of what would become
So I continue the silence
I go on with the heaviness
Of this burden.
I am breaking
I am broken
