Hamster Query!!

Belle is doing ok after her lil escapade the other day, she is back in a very secure cage high up in the kitchen!!!!!!

anyway query......Every few weeks she goes mad in the cage as in burrowing everything, Ie her sawdust gets pushed to one end of the cage, and then she procedds to block up her rotastak tubes with sawdust so she cant get any further her food gets stored in the tube which she then promplty blocks so she cant get into the tubes!!!

does any of this make sense? is it a season (mating thing?!) I assume its totally naturel, but the blocking of the rotastak is getting silly as she then panics coz she cant get to her food?!!!

Thinkin about changin it to a different cage to see if it makes life any easier for her?

rotastak cages arent very good for dwarf hamsters (you didnt say what type you had) our dwarf used to do the same thing.

and our "normal" hamster did to each month or when she was to cold
